Our samples are either packaged by the perfume house, or hand-poured here at Smallflower and presented in a spray vial. Each vial is filled to a variable volume to reflect the concentration of the fragrance being sampled.

About the Fragrance:

Inspired by the ‘white gold’ that appears occasionally on Scottish beaches and the alchemy of time & tide, The Grudge finds beauty in the unexpected: the journey of ambergris from the craw of the sperm whale, rolled on the tide, retrieved from a beach and tinctured into a bottle. A metaphor for the alchemy of presence.
